Intrepid runners complete the Great North Run for ABOAB

Massive thanks to our incredible Great North runners – Sharon, Ciara, Aoife, Sam, Mike and Ant! All smiling, despite the rain and you most definitely made your miles matter! Together they raised just shy of £2,000 for @A Bit of a Break, which means more holidays for more people living with a terminal illness.

Lucy completes 100km Ultramarathon for ABOAB

A massive well done to Lucy for completing the Lake District 100km Ultra in June in support of A Bit of a Break! Yes, that’s right 100km! And, as if that weren’t enough of a chalenge in itself, she decided that rather than taking two days she would do it all in one go!!

Here’s Lucy at Ambleside after the first 29km – it’s clearly hungry work!

Lucy had a target of raising £1000 which they far exceeded.  It’s not too late to join in, follow this link to the Just Giving page Beach Bums on the Run take on Lake District 100K
