Ten Years Old!

This is A Bit of a Break’s tenth year!  We started small in 2016 under the guiding hand of The Carers’ Resource who embraced Angela and Matthew’s idea with great enthusiasm and encouraged us to give it a go. Two years on we had the confidence to fly solo so registered with the Charities Commission in November 2018 to become a charity in our own right.  Over those ten years we’ve had more than 325 referrals and delivered 174 successful breaks for people living with a palliative diagnosis. What a journey.
